Editorial policy
Golden Travel Journal aims to make travel choices clearer without claiming that one plan suits everyone. We use plain language, distinguish general ideas from specific requirements and correct the record when we get something wrong.
Accuracy and scope
We check factual statements before publication and make clear when a piece is offering a comparison, an explanation or an opinion. Travel conditions and requirements can change and vary by destination; we do not present general editorial guidance as a substitute for checking current official information where that is necessary.
Independence and partners
Editorial decisions remain separate from commercial arrangements. Paid, sponsored or partner material is clearly labelled where it appears, and a partnership does not guarantee favourable coverage or editorial approval.
Corrections and illustrations
Readers can report a possible error through the Contact page. We review correction requests and update material when warranted, with a clear note when the change affects a significant point. Some illustrations may be AI-generated; they are illustrations, not documentary evidence.
A good trip leaves room to notice.
We favour thoughtful choices over exhaustive checklists. Plan around what matters, use what you have and leave space for a change of pace.
